BARANG

Originally from Bristol, Tom Geoffrey is the founder of 'BARANG', a pop-up restaurant inspired by the cuisine of Cambodia. His career in professional kitchens began over a decade ago, with his last role at Kiln in London.


Tom has travelled frequently to Cambodia & Thailand for menu inspiration and development.


Since launching BARANG in 2023, Tom has cooked both internationally & around the UK, showcasing his dishes via many sell out pop-ups & residencies. 2024 saw him run successful sell-out pop-ups at popular London restaurants such as Mambow, Hill & Szrok and Oranj.


Tom also spent some time in Sweden last summer at Holy Smoke BBQ, in which he featured on the line up for their 10th anniversary celebration alongside some of the worlds most renowned chefs who lead the way in fire cooking & BBQ.


More recently, Tom spent 5 weeks in Bangkok & Phnom Penh where he cooked at renowned wine bar 'Chenin' along with a sell-out collaborative event at 'Bai Sor'.
